" Everybody can have a role but everybody can't have a position."
- Sri Amma Bhagavan
Told by Vikram Dasaji
Enjoy this message from one of my friends...
It happened some years ago but can recall like it happened just last a week ago. I was amongst a group of audience listening to a motivational guru. The speaker whipped out his wallet and pulled out a five hundred rupee note. Holding it up, he asked, “Who wants this five hundred rupee note?”
Lots of hands went up. A slow chorus began to build as people began to shout “Me!” “Me!” I began to wonder who the lucky one would be. And, I also secretly wondered – and I am sure others too did - why would he give away five hundred rupees?
Even as the shouts of “I want it” grew louder, a young woman ran down the aisle. She ran up onto the stage, went up to the speaker, and grabbed the five hundred rupee note from his hand. “Well done, young lady,” said the speaker into the microphone. “Most of us just wait for good things to happen. That’s of no use. You’ve got to make things happen.” The speaker’s words have stayed with me ever since.
Our lives are like that. We all see opportunities around us. We all want the good things. But the problem is we don’t act. We all want the five hundred rupee notes on offer. But we don’t make the move. We look at it longingly and wonder who will be the lucky one – instead of making our own luck. To be fair, some of us do think of running onto the stage and grabbing it. But we quickly hold ourselves back, because we worry about what people might think.
Has it ever happened to you that you see a successful new product or a flourishing new business and remind of how you had thought of that very idea many years ago? Well, that’s not worth much. You may have had the idea first, but someone else did something about it – so he’ll reap the rewards. Next time you have an idea – remember that simply thinking about doing something is of no use. Do something. Next time you see an opportunity – think of the lady and the five hundred rupee note. Remember, just wanting it is of little use. Get up, and do something about it. Don’t worry about what other people might think. Take action.
>>>>>
Several years later, it was another day, another time. And another motivational guru, As I watched him pull out a five hundred rupee note and hold it up for all to see, I thought I knew what he was going to do next. But he just asked a simple question. “How much is this worth?”
“Five Hundred rupees!” the crowd yelled in unison. “Right,” said the speaker. He then took the note and crumpled it into a ball and asked “How much is it worth now?”
“Five Hundred rupees!” screamed the audience.
He then threw the note on the ground, stamped all over it and picked up the note and asked one more time: “And how much is it worth now?”
“Five Hundred rupees!” was the response.
“I want you to remember this,” said the speaker. “Just because someone crumples it, or stamps on it, the value of the note does not diminish. We should all be like the five hundred rupee note. In our lives, there will be times when we feel crushed, stamped over, beaten. But never let your self-worth diminish. Just because someone chooses to crush you – that doesn’t change your worth one bit! Don’t allow your self-worth to diminish because someone says something nasty – or does something dirty - to you.”

Waiting for the Wind
These words are true. Sometimes we think we can do it all on our own, but we need to wait for the wind. Read this story for more...
My friend's nephew's 10 year old son along with my friend came for a visit one day, this week. I was enticing him to stay inside by joining him in a chess game. After being mercilessly defeated by a more experienced player,(he is district chess champion) I suggested that we relax awhile. I collapsed into my favorite recliner to let my neck muscles relax and my ego recover from such a beating. He had slipped out of the room and I was catching a few relished moments of peace and quiet.
"Look, uncle," he said enthusiastically as he ran over to the chair where I was recovering.
"I found a kite. Could we go outside and fly it?"
Glancing out a nearby window, I noticed there was not a breeze stirring. "I'm sorry, sunny," I said, sad to see his disappointed eyes, but thankful for the respite from more activity. "The wind is not blowing today. The kite won't fly."
The determined 10 year old replied. "I think it's windy enough. I can get it to fly," he answered, as he hurried out of the door.
I peeked through the slats in the venetian blinds to watch determination in action. Up and down the ground he ran, pulling the kite attached to a small length of string. The plastic kite, proudly displaying a picture of spiderman, remained about shoulder level. He ran back and forth, as hard as his ten year old legs would carry him, looking back hopefully at the kite trailing behind. After about ten minutes of unsuccessful determination, he came back in.
I asked, "How did it go?"
"Fine," he said, not wanting to admit defeat. "I got it to fly some."
As he walked past me to return the kite to the closet shelf, I heard him say under his breath, "I guess I'll have to wait for the wind."
At that moment I heard another Voice speak to my heart. "Son. Sometimes you are just like that. You want to do it your way instead of waiting for the Wind."
And the voice was right. How easy it is to use our own efforts to accomplish what we want to do. We wait for the Wind only after we have done all we can and have exhausted our own strength. We must learn how to rely on Him in the first place!

Gods Abode and My experience

The Gods Abode - My experience
My husband and I attended the Super Process a year back in January 2011. (I am sorry I am sharing this very late.) We had a lot of mystical experiences some of which I have even forgotten. Here, I write a few I remember.
In one of the processes, I was taken to the Seventh Heaven, Satyaloka, (once again) where I started experiencing many gods alive. Lord Shiva and His consort Goddess Shakti (Ambaal) welcomed me and introduced me to God Ganesha and God Karthik (Muruga) as their youngest sister, seating me between themselves, in the great throne. As I watched, Lord Shiva and Shakti became Bhagavan and Amma. Ganesha and Muruga gave me a lot of love and I felt great being the beloved sister of these two great gods of the Hindu religion, for whom thousands of temples were there in India.
Lord Muruga took me to various Lokas, seating me before Him on His big peacock, explaining to me many things. One of the Lokas (planets) was where all the great Saints of all religions were there. All these saints welcomed me, bathed me (did abhishekam for me) with pure waters and other liquids, decorated me and blessed me a lot. While leaving the Loka (their land/planet), they gave me something very tasty to drink from a pot. It tasted something like 'Kheer' (payasam), a sweet drink with something like milk and many many dry fruits. These dry fruits were of a different taste, never found on this Earth. I kept drinking this pure Kheer, which I came to know as the 'Nectar' (Amrut), but to my amazement, I kept on drinking, drinking, non-stop. I was wondering why I continued drinking and drinking and why my stomach was not getting full! As I saw down, I could see this Nectar/Amrut pouring from me to all the participants in the class (Super Process) and after that it went to all the devotees in Gujarat, India, and thereafter to all the Amma Bhagavan devotees all over the world and finally to the entire human race, to everyone on this Earth. I then understood why my stomach was not filled. That experience was going on and on for a long time.
When I actually went through these experiences, I never knew their significance or importance. It just happened and I enjoyed and thanked Bhagavan.
I had these experiences in January 1011. Nine months later, in September 1011, I attended Sri Bhagavan's class in which Bhagavan said that - to enter the Kalki army of 70,000, we need to have 5 requisites:
1) A sword
2) A white horse
3) A strong Antaryamin
4) Must have drunk the nectar and
5) must have been welcomed to the Gods' abode, the Great Hall in Satyaloka.
It was then I understood the purpose of the above experiences.
After the above experience, my travel to Satyaloka became frequent and almost as I wished. All Gods, especially, Ganesha and Karthik (Muruga) were always beside me, protecting me with all love and devotion, that I slept beside them everyday, like I slept with my brothers and sisters when I was a child. Sometimes when I did not get sleep, I went to Satyaloka, slept on the laps of the Gods there, who patted me, loved me and sang me to sleep. In the morning when I woke up, I came back to this Earth. It was as though I went to another room slept and came back. Life became so beautiful, peaceful and a heaven on earth.
(Today Bhagavan says that even these five qualifications are not enough and they do not guarantee an entry into the Kalki Army. We need to grow and learn more, if we have to be in the Kalki Army).

WHO ARE AMMA AND BHAGAVAN

WHO ARE AMMA AND BHAGAVAN
"If you wish for something with a good
intent and from your heart, the entire
universe shall conspire to make it come
true" - Sri Amma Bhagavan
A new comer wanted to know about Amma and Bhagavan;
Sri Bhagavan is a Spiritual Avatar and Bhagavati Padmavati Amma is His Divine concert. We call them together as Amma -Bhagavan. Some call Amma as 'amma Bhagavan' too. Though Amma and Bhagavan are in two bodies, as avatars they are same and equal.
Let us first see what an Avatar is. An Avatar is a great Being born:
(1) for a PARTICULAR common PURPOSE,
(2) to HELP A GROUP of people or entire mankind,
(3) to live a life DEDICATED TO THE PURPOSE,
(4) with the ENTIRE POWER needed to fulfill the purpose (sankalpa) and
(5) ones who COMPLETE their mission during their time on Earth.
Amma and Bhagavan are avatars who have come to usher in the Golden Age, when Man will not know any of the 3 sufferings - mental, physical and spiritual suffering.
In short and simple layman's language, they have come to make the entire humanity happy. There are thousands of people on this planet who have befriended Amma and Bhagavan and experienced tremendous grace and wonderful experiences and miracles in their life. The most underlining factor is - people get extreme grace by simply making Amma and Bhagavan as their friends and sharing their thoughts and wants and necessities with them. Any one who seeks Amma Bhagavan from their heart are showered with grace in their lives. Any new comer can try and experiment and experience this fact.
People all over the world share their experiences in person and on the internet, especially in facebook in various groups. We may also see what Bhagavan says on His Avatar.
SRI BHAGAVAN: "Avatars come in human form because, that is the only way to incarnate the God within man. The Avatar takes the human form and behaves in a human way so that humanity can feel kinship with divinity. At the same time he rises to godly heights so that mankind also can aspire to reach God. 'The realization of the indwelling God as the motivator of life' - is the task for which Avatars come in human form.
Previous Avatars like Rama and Krishna had to destroy a few individuals who could be identified as enemies of the godly way of life and thus restore the dharmic path.
Today, however, wickedness has tainted so many that humanity itself sands under the threat of destruction. Therefore, in my present Avatar, I have come armed with the fullness of the power of formless God to correct mankind, raise human consciousness and put people back on the right path of truth, righteousness, peace and love to divinity"
Question to Bhagavan:
Bhagavan, how is your consciousness as an avatar different from the consciousness of someone who gets enlightened?
Sri Bhagavan: "At this point in time the only difference could be in the intensity of the awareness or the intensity of the bliss, but otherwise there is no basic fundamental difference. But as these nadis open up and become stronger, his (an enlightened person's) awareness levels will also increase and the gap will soon close. But it may take a little time. But fundamentally there is no difference. Except I do have some additional facilities. Like I can see what is going on in some other place, what’s happening in somebody’s mind, and how I can help them. I can really interfere in helping their life by taking up a strong sankalpa, a strong wish. These too (enlightened) people will be able to acquire in the course of time. Already a few of them have acquired this in small measure".
Question: "Bhagavan, there have been so many avatars in human history, who have come and given different teachings, and helped to maybe enlighten a few people. What makes you so different?
Sri Bhagavan: "Well, I think it is not about my being different. I think I have come at a different time. The other avatars prepared people for enlightenment, for liberation, but could not give it to them, not because they were not capable of giving it, but because the times were not ready for that. So I come at a time when earth’s energies have changed, and man is very receptive, and it is possible to give him enlightenment. So my advantage is that I have come at the right time, a time when it is possible to give it to man".
Question: Bhagavan, how would you explain the concept of ‘AVATAR’ to a western audience?
An avatar could be musical avatar, he could be a mathematics avatar, he could be a political avatar, he could be a spiritual avatar. The avatar what is meant is somebody who comes with specific mission on the planet and who is divinely inspired and through whom divine energies flow. That is what which is meant by the avatar. But, many are not aware that avatars can cover every field of human activity. They think that it is pertains to spiritual work. It isn’t so. But, I happened to be a spiritual avatar.
Question: "How do I develop FAITH in YOU to RECEIVE GRACE?'
Sri Bhagavan: "You do not know me. So, the best thing to start is, you start with your God. You must certainly be believing in some God. You could start with your God, it could be Rama or Krishna or Christ or whatever your God. How could you believe me, it is totally new person, there is no way. I am not interested in perpetrating myself, be very clear about that. I am here basically to put you in touch with your God. So, down the line, may be you could discover me and a bond could develop. I am not important as far as you are concern.
What is important is,
'Do you want a change in your life?,
Do you want to have an end to your physical sufferingS, your psychological sufferingS, your existence sufferingS?'.
So, would you like to have an end to all this sufferings?
All that I am suggesting is come, there is only one way, no psychology is going to help, it would help up to a point; No philosophy is going to help, it would help up to a point; Beyond that God has to help you. And what God, any God whom you have been worshipping. You are not required to accept me at all, be very clear about it. Your God would appear to you, he would start relating to you, he would give you the Grace to transform your life. You can follow any teachings, follow any sadhana, worship any God, it is purely a personal affair and whatever it is, we will help you in the process".
Question: "Bhagavan, Do you feel that at some point your work will be over?
Sri Bhagavan: "Most certainly, yes. The moment the world is enlightened, my work is over. The moment humanity becomes one humanity, one complete humanity, and all the divisions have ceased, my work is over. I am here to remove all divisions in whatever form they might exist.
So, though humanity faces a lot of obstacles, and danger seems to be lurking around the corner, I would like to tell them that redemption is around the corner, that we are going to make it"

How to deal with Ego
Posted by
Anuji
"Life is to be lived and not to be questioned"
... Sri Amma Bhagavan.
How to deal with Ego
In the first place we should remember that we are dealing with the Ego inside us. Many times we think that we have to protect ourselves from others’ ego. There is no need for this. We can never see Ego inside someone else unless we have the same in us. It is the Ego inside us that makes us see the Ego inside someone else. We should be very clear about this. When we talk of Ego, the habit of the mind is to see ego in others and not in ourselves.
Ego is a part of this Human Mind. We cannot erase or reduce it. We should understand this clearly. The Human Mind is made up of so many elements and the Ego is one of them. We cannot control Ego too. The more we try to control anything in the Mind, the more it will be predominant. Since we cannot erase Ego, because it is a vital part of the Human Mind, we should also know that we cannot be without Ego. So what should we do?
Here we should learn what Humility is. It appears that the opposite of Ego is Humility. The question comes: How to be humble, if we cannot be without Ego?
The answer is simple: Being aware of this Ego inside us is Humility.
The Ego, for its survival, we know, does not allow us to see it. But the moment we see it, (see the chapter ‘Ego games’) - its games are finished. It can no more play its games. It is something like this. There is a thief inside your family. The thief is an integral part of the family. Hence you cannot get rid of him/her. So what do you do? All you can do is: keep a watch on the thief. The thief cannot do thieving when being watched, is it not? The same way, when we keep on watching this ego and its games inside us, the ego cannot play its games. The ego will be there but cannot damage our work or spoil our relationships. We can only be free of this Ego. We cannot erase it.
We can practice this awareness by understanding and remembering the Six games of Ego.
To facilitate us, Sri Bhagavan talks about the six games of Ego. The Ego in order to survive inside us always plays one of the following six games.
Dominating others:
Domination of others is a natural game for the Ego to Survive. We normally dominate others saying we are parents, spouse, leaders, employers, officers, head of the family, etc. Our position as parent or a leader gives us the excuse to dominate others frequently. Most often in the pretext of concern for the organization we are working for or as concern for the other person, our mind subtly allows us to dominate others. More often we are unaware of this subtle interference of this Ego in many of our relationships.
(We shall see more of this in the Chapter, ‘Inner Integrity’.)
2. Refusing to get dominated
We should understand clearly that it is the Ego that refuses to get us dominated. This is another subtle and a dangerous game that Ego plays. If we do not have Ego, why should we in all resist if another person is dominating us? In the absence of this Ego, we will happily surrender to domination by others. But most often we do not like to be dominated in any way. We should understand that this is nothing but the Ego playing inside us.
3. I am Right
The Ego in us always would want to prove that ‘we are right’. Again and again, we would argue or try to prove that we are justified or right. There will be lot of explanations done by us in order to prove this. We should be aware of this Ego Game when we try to prove that we are right.
Why should we ever prove we are right? If we really right, there is no need at all to prove it. The Nature or the Universe or the God (whatever you call it) will prove it for us if we become aware of this game of Ego inside us.
4. You are Wrong
This is the other side of the above coin. Just as we prove we are right, we also prove that the other person is wrong. This is nothing but the Ego playing its game inside us.
5. Survival
Ultimately, the Ego in order to survive inside us will simply lead us into thinking that it is playing none of the above games. Ego will always justify itself. The mind will lead us to think that we are not all infected with Ego or we are absolutely right in our egoistic approach.
6. Cover-up
Very often we cover up our Ego by commenting about others or finding fault with others. We should be very much aware that it is this Ego and Hurt that is more often finding fault with others. (Here we are not talking about practical functional faults. We talk about characteristic judgments and blaming others.)

Is Ego good or bad?
Posted by

"Is EGO Good or Bad? Is it possible to be free of EGO and still function in the world?
It is a common question in our mind that without Ego it is impossible to survive in this so called modern world. This question was put to Sri Bhagavan, the spiritual Avataar and the founder of the Oneness Movement.
Question to Sri Bhagavan: “Sometimes when we are speaking to people in the Corporate Sector or elsewhere Bhagavan, when we talk about the ego – they often have this condition/view, they say ‘without the ego, it is very difficult for us to survive. If we are not egoistic, the world will dominate us, we would be finished.'
Is it really possible Bhagavan, to be really free of the ego and still function in the world; still be successful in the world; still be a part of this competitive life, Bhagavan?
Answer by Sri Bhagavan: “Yes! In fact if you are free of the ego, you would be extremely successful. What we have to distinguish between is, The Self and The Ego. Self is an ambition -the Will to fight it out or the Will to achieve. Now, we are not talking of those things here. The Ego on the other hand makes you positional. When you become positional, you don’t understand what the other person is talking. There is no listening. Hence, there is no learning. Therefore you have every chance of losing. You have every chance of losing a business order. You have every chance of losing a good employee. You have every chance of losing a good insight. That way the ego proves to be very harmful for corporate success.
Here, you must know we are not talking of the self. The Self must very much be there; if you want to achieve success in the world. We are not talking about that. We are talking of the Ego and its games, which is harmful in the process of achieving success. So, you must learn to distinguish between the two”.

HUMILITY
"Values make character" - Sri Amma
Bhagavan
A few days back, we were reminded by Bhagavan about the story of Nandanar, the great Bhakta. The weekly teaching of Bhagavan at present reminded me of another characteristic of Nandanar, the great devotee. That was taught to us by Paramacharyaji (Dr Shankar, the childhood friend of Sri Bhagavan who helped Bhagavan to start the Oneness movement).
As Nandanar went to the Shiva temple to have the darshan of the Shivling there, he was not allowed to enter the temple because he did not belong to the forward caste. He prostrated before the temple outside and did the parikrama (rounded the temple- a sacred ritual) of the temple many times. As he did that he was thinking. "Oh, will I be able to see the Lord? How can I see the Lord? Will the Lord give me darshan at least for a few seconds? Will I be entitled for it? How can I have a view from outside?" He had all the passion to see his God, but was also doubtful whether it would happen, how it would happen, etc.
His doubt did not come because he had less faith in his God. His doubt came because of his HUMILITY. Though Shiva did the greatest miracle to bring Nandanar near the temple, Nandanar never felt he himself was a great devotee. He was just where he was, humble enough to realise he was a lesser being and no one before the Lord. He was grateful to Shiva who brought him there but did not feel he was a great devotee that the Lord did the miracle for him. So much was his humilty. It was the HUMILITY of Nandanar that made the Nandi (the calf statue) move from its place, so that Nandanar could have the Lord's darshan. Humality touches God's heart and brings tears to His eyes. So all devotion should be underlined by this humility to touch the Lord's heart.
Simllarly, when we go to the process thinking we have done great things in life or know a lot of things about god and spirituality and sit there with this thinking, we may miss the fast bus to growth and enlightenment. Suppose there is a person in the process who has done a lot of puja or learning and comes with an attitude that 'I am better' and there is another person who knows he has done nothing to get Gods grace but has just come to beg and take the grace (whatever is being given), the latter will get all the Grace while the former will lose a lot because of his self-righteousness.
Thus when we go for Bhagavan's classes or any darshan, if we go with the feeling that we have done a lot of seva and bhakti (devotion), we will get very little. (That little we get is also because of the Lord's compassion). The feeling that we have done a lot of seva and bhakti can make us very self-righteous. We should be careful and aware of it. If we go to any God's darshan with a simple passion to see the Lord and not with a motive to get something, it will be better. That is true bhakti (devotion).
Hence, none of us who is experiencing Sri Bhagavan can assume that we are eligible to get anything, including enlightenment. We might have done a lot of seva (service to god) and accumulated so much of sat-karma during the years. Yet that does not really make us eligible for enlightenment. Ultimately enlightenment will happen to us only because the Lord has decided to give us and the time for it has come and not because we are devotees.
Humility cannot be practiced. Humility can happen if we realise that we are not humble; if we realise we are egoistic; if we realise we are self-righteous; if we realise we are lesser beings with all the faults; if we realise we are like every other human being - a lower being; if we realise that we have a feeling that we are superior beings, etc. To realise all these things, what we need is GREAT INNER INTEGRITY, the courage to see our inner truth openly and candidly without any explanations.

What is Important is - Bhagavan being with You
"You suffer because of alienation from God . Without God in your life you are an orphan"
~ Sri AmmaBhagavan
A few months back, I had a testing time. The mind that had been very calm since so many days and months and years, suddenly took a turmoil and started churning after an incident on June 9th, Relationship Day. It was a day that brought another big change to my life. The incident hurt me very badly and I had the personal darshan of Bhagavan with all that hurt. I prayed to Bhagavan for growth and transformation to come out of the hurts during the darshan.
As on that day and the two weeks that followed, I was totally confused and had no clue how to stop this mind. When I was working on my personal project in chennai, I had all the wisdom, clarity, Bhagavan's Presence and bliss to do it. Once I sat alone, the mind that was terribly hurt would start churning. Though I was aware of all the teachings and the ways and had a lot of experiences in the last so many years, I could only watch the mind going on. I WAS ABSOLUTELY HELPLESS. I just hugged the Sri Murti of Bhagavan and sat still when ever the mind started working. I could not even pray and come out. A couple of times, I took deeksha from my Guide and friends which helped me to slowly come out of the hurts. Still the mind would not stop totally.
Finally I reached home (Ahmedabad) and it was June 25th and the next day was our Wedding Anniversary. I told Bhagavan that I did not want to be in this mind on my Wedding anniversary. I went and opened my PC, opened one of Sri Bhagavan's talks recorded in the U-tube and put it on. I put the earphones and started listening......no hearing Bhagavan's voice. As it had been happening since the previous two weeks, the mind never allowed me to listen to Bhagavan. I did not even know on what topic Bhagavan was speaking. Nevertheless, I just closed my eyes and continued to hear, if not listen.
As Bhagavan's voice continued to enter my ears, in a couple of minutes, the mind became completely silent and I went into a no-body state for more than half an hour; that is, I could not even move an eyeball. (Previous to June 9th, I could easily go into this state just on wishing).
I never knew even the topic of what Bhagavan spoke. I was not listening to the teaching; I was not working on any teaching; I was not introspecting; I was not praying too; I was not learning anything; In fact, I did not do anything at all; but Bhagavan's voice itself stopped the mind completely and the churning of the mind never came back. I came out of all the hurts completely. They never came back. I had better clarity about what I should do and started completely enjoying the mukti state more than even before. All CRAVING and BECOMING and CONCEPTS stopped completely for me, COMPLETELY means COMPLETELY. They never came back.
If Bhagavan's recorded voice has this effect through a computer, just imagine how Bhagavan's live darshans would have effect on this mind and body! June 26th being the Relationship Day, somewhere I knew intuitively that what ever had happened that day, though it appeared to be negative, would soon take the most positive turn. Moreover, I had met Purushottam Bhagavan and asked for transformation. How can it not happen? He simply lifted me even higher.
While we are with Bhagavan, it is quite possible that we dip down, frequently or at times. But whenever we dip down, I feel, we are being lifted higher and closer to Him always. If that is the way we grow, why should we resist such dipping down? Children are allowed/made to fall down by life/god so that they can learn to get up, is it not? Everything is good and beautiful and to our advantage. That is what we should remember. This will help us to welcome anything instead of resisting. When we resist anything, we resist MUKTI. We resist FREEDOM from this mind.
Here I am reminded of a conversation with my antaryamin Bhagavan, a few years ago. Between the time Bhagavan entered my heart in November 1995 and mid 1997, I was really in heaven, always in bliss and seva. Suffering used to be there for a few minutes and that suffering always took me to more learning and more bliss and closer to Bhagavan. I was totally in a state of bliss after sometime. That state lasted for more than one and half years. Suddenly after that, I found myself dipping down and started experiencing insecurity, fear, jealousy, etc. I became afraid of this going down and I asked Bhagavan WHY ?
Bhagavan gave me a vision. Bhagavan was carrying me like a child and coming downhill. He was walking so fast down the hill. I looked out from his arms and felt dizzy coming down the hill so fast and got so scared. Like a child, I looked at Bhagavan with all fear. He simply looked into my eyes as He held me and said as follows: "You should not see where you are going, uphill or downhill. It does not matter where I take you. What matters is, 'I' am taking you; It is I who is holding you, you see. You simply keep looking at Me and not where you are being taken. You have to learn a lot. You have been easily lifted to bliss by my grace! Now you will experience each negative trait and also learn to come out of it and teach others. You should also know what you should do to come out of these aspects of the Mind. I want you to learn that too".
Saying that, He took me down and down for almost a year and at the same time, taught me, relieved me more from all hurts, expectation, insecurity and then finally took me to unconditional love and enlightenment experiences.

SRI BHAGAVAN SAYS
"I am helping you all the time. You do not know the any number of times you have been saved. If you could somehow manage to see the Hand of Grace you would immediately start loving Me. Because isn't it natural to love anyone who helps you? The moment you start loving Me I would start giving you more and more Grace. As below, so above. When you see somebody loving you, don't you start loving him? Same thing here also.
Initially My Grace flows into your life as strange coincidences. I use that word because it is mild. The more you recognize Grace in coincidences your love would increase, and there will be a flood of grace leading to miracles.
I love you much more than you love yourselves."
"You need not search elsewhere for God. All you need to do is to look at your own life and you would see Him. Throughout your life the Hand of the Divine has been continuously helping and guiding you. You are just not Aware of it. When you reminisce about your life, you would discover there is a higher Intelligence, a higher Energy which has been there with you all the time. When you awaken to this truth, you discover the Presence of God in your life."
"The ultimate purpose of life is to become one with God. Your whole life is so structured to push you in that direction. If every event in your life were thoroughly understood and experienced as an action from God you would move closer to God. Ultimately you become one with God."
"Anybody can become one with God as long as you have a Divine Being within oneself, and you have melted with that and it merges with your Antaryamin (Indweller)."

ANTARYAMIN

ANTARYAMIN
Formless as I am, the Antaryamin shall awaken formless inside you or in the form you desire or the form I choose, or I shall manifest to you outside again in the form you desire or the form I choose; for every Form is My Form and I am your Supreme Friend, if only you would seek Me with your whole heart.
- Sri Bhagavn
The following are some of the common perceptions people have with regard to the awakening of the Antaryamin. We think if we have to experience God or a live Antaryamin God, we need to have the following qualifications.
1. We should be a good person, that is, think and talk only good things.
2. We should have read a lot about god and heard a lot about god.
3. We should have great belief or faith in God.
4. We should be pious, and have habits like visiting the sacred places of worship, chanting slokas often, singing bhajans/hymns, or perform many rituals, etc.
5. All our relationships should be perfect.
6. We should have unconditional love.
7. We should have done a lot of seva or good deeds.
8. We should have attended a lot of processes, prayer sessions and satsanghs.
9. We should have come out of all negative thoughts and emotions, etc. etc. etc.
If the awakening of the Antaryamin is dependant on any of the above factors, none of us in oneness would have a live Antaryamin, as none of us qualifies as above. But it is a fact that many of us in oneness are experiencing a live god who talks, laughs, participates and guides in our heart. While all these above things will definitely help us to grow in our relationship with God, they are not the base for the Antaryamin to awaken.
For the Antaryamin to awaken, all we need is a GREAT PASSION to listen and follow the guidance of the Antaryamin and of course, to some extent, a good bond with (and gratitude for) our God. Antaryamin also gets awakened when we helplessly pray to God for guidance, fully realizing that that is the only guidance left! As long as we have alternatives for guidance, the Lord in our hearts will remain silent.
It is the Antaryamin ultimately that makes us a good human, a god realised human, taking us towards unconditional love, enlightenment or mukti. So Antaryamin is a sort of beginning.
Hence, one should not confuse the awakening of an Antaryamin God to the 'Awakening' or Enlightenment or Mukti that Sri Bhagavan speaks about. A person may have a strong Antaryamin but not be an enlightened being or a Mukta still. Not necessary. Though a strong Antaryamin takes us easily towards Mukti and gives us enlightenment experiences and enlightenment states, it is not the same as being enlightened.
We can have a strong Antaryamin but still have the ugly mind and really be ugly sometimes. This is some what like TWO SIDES of the same Coin. We are the Coin but have two sides, namely, the God and the Mind. We are either dominated by God or by the (Unconscious) Mind. When God dominates us, all our thoughts and actions become divine and when the Mind dominates us, we bring suffering to ourselves and others.
But we need the help of God to look into ourselves; to look at the Mind as a separate entity from us. It is only this God within us that can give us the courage and strength to look into the Mind filled with its filth and ugliness. It is definitely very beautiful to have a strong antaryamin god. He relieves us from so many conflicts and acts as our greatest friend and lessens our tensions and above all gives us so much love that we start seeing and accepting all our ugliness happily.
That is it. If the Antaryamin is strong, it does not mean that we do not have any ugliness inside us. If the Antaryamin is strong, we are able to look at that ugliness and accept it better and happily. The Antaryamin Bhagavan gives us this state where we love ourselves unconditiionally - as we are.
A person may not have a talking Antaryamin god. He may have the Antaryamin god as Formless, Silence and Presence. Still he has a strong Antaryamin, if he can look at the mind separate from himself or if he is experiencing the sacred teachings easily. That is an indication of having a strong Antaryamin God. However the Antaryamin God is, in what ever way/form the Antaryamin god may be, we should respect and VALUE the Antaryamin. The more the value we give to our Antaryamin God, the more active, our Antaryamin becomes.
So it does not matter if we are ugly and have all the 'doshas' (negativities) inside. The Antaryamin will still love us and talk to us and be with us and help us as a true friend.
SEVA, Processes, Darshans and havans give us a stronger and active Antaryamin.

New Year Messages-2009 and 2010

“How could you be secure when you seek for security from people who are in themselves insecure? Security is possible only when it is shifted to God." - Sri Amma Bhagavan
SHRI BHAGAVAN'S -2009 - NEW YEAR MESSAGE
Let your feelings grow wings and fly beyond the farthest horizons of your imagination, though the fabrics of your dream be checkered by the longings of pleasures and victory, made be of the hues of growth and service, may the forms dance in the flames of your imagination be of loving friendship from many and respect from most .........including yourself.
Dream of a moment when your mothers and fathers, sons and daughters would embrace you when they realize the trust they reposed in you has come true.
Dream of a moment when in your family, the coolness of hurt is replaced by the warmth of Love
Dream of a moment when all who know turn you in to an ideal to be emulated.
Dream of a moment when even those dislike you are touched by your acts of kindness and looked upon you with esteem.
Dream of a moment when millions will bless the moment you were born.
Dream of yourself being part of a world that knows no division.
Dream of an Earth where the rivers are full, the forest green, sunlight bright, mountains tall and laughter everywhere......and after you have dream pray the Cosmic Dreamer to help turn these in to realities, fatigued with excitement, move then into the quiet of your consciousness."
SRI BHAGAVAN'S NEW YEAR MESSAGE - 2010
Of all the battles ever fought by man,the battle against himself has been the most arduous.
The mind with its contents - fear, jealousy, guilt, boredom etc is divisive in nature. It is divided as the good and bad;the sacred and the profane and is trying to evade the other. That's the struggle all about. The awakened realizes that it is not his/her mind but the collective ancient mind flowing through and hence is aware of the futility of change. This insight unfurls an entirely new experience of living and being. He or she no longer struggles but rather has befriended the mind. Awakening is not a destination it is a journey.Cessation of personal suffering is a milestone
on this ongoing journey in consciousness. The rest unfolds, growth continues to happen. The energy available manifests as attention to the other, love in relationships, as efficiency and creativity in work. You, in short move from existence to living.
Letting go of the need to control is.... surrender.
Letting go of the hurt is... forgiveness.
Letting go of the resistance is... acceptance.
Letting go of the possession is... love.
To let go again requires ... Grace
Let us begin this New Year by seeking Grace to... let go.
