God's Touch Continued

God's Touch - Continued

"Somebody had a miracle that is BELIEF. You have a miracle that is FAITH. Coming face to face with God, that is DISCOVERY" - Sri Amma Bhagavan

On 18th January 2001, after my personal darshan with Sri Bhagavan, I could not sleep that night. I was again and again seeking to be physically with my God Bhagavan though I knew it was not possible. He was the Great Purushottama Bhagavan, with a BIG sankalpa to help everyone, and here I was an ordinary devotee (not even a dasa/Guide) with nothing but passion to be with Him. He was God and I was an ordinary being. He was the King, surrounded by so many disciples day and night, while I was a nobody whom a very few knew. He was sought by thousands of devotees and I was one among those thousands! I had no means of even seeing Him physically again! Yet I was seeking to be with Him always! I could not explain it; I could not help seeking it.

As I realised these things with a mixture of pain and Joy, Bhagavan manifested before me and said. "You see Anu, as you and I are physically on this earth, we are bound by our personal lives and by the physical dimensions of Space and Time, common to all on this Earth. But in Satyaloka, everything is different. There is nothing to part us there. You can be with me there for ever. There is no limitations of Space and Time in Satyaloka. We will always be together there". He also added emotionally, "Just as you want to be one with Me, I am also very passionate to be one with you - and all of you". Saying this, He hugged me tightly like my own father with tears of happiness in His great eyes and I clung to Him.

Soon I saw myself leaving this body mystically and entering a Great Palace in Satyaloka (The Seventh Heaven), where Amma and Bhagavan were seated in Great Golden Thrones, surrounded by all Gods and Saints and Prophets. I just saw all these things in fractions of seconds and went rushing to the Satyaloka Amma and Bhagavan, to go and lie on Bhagavan's lap once more there. Bhagavan gathered me like a child and says. "Come my child, now no one or no dimension can separate you and Me" and hugged me. I experienced Him completely there and as it happened, I suddenly get evaporated and consumed by His Great Body (Being) and became a part of that Great God Bhagavan! I no more existed! I did not exist in body; I did not exist even as a Soul (Atman)!

My Antaryamin Bhagavan said, "This is what would happen to you ultimately".

All these things were told to me in January 2001, when we knew nothing about awakening. That was the first time I entered the great Palace of Gods (The Abode of Gods or the Great Hall of Fame, as Sri Bhagavan calls it) in Satyaloka. I knew not its significance then or later. I knew only my passion to be with Bhagavan and Amma. For me, my Antaryamin Bhagavan and Amma, the Purushottama Bhagavan and amma, the Sri Murti Amma and Bhagavan and the Amma and Bhagavan I saw in Satyaloka (mystically) were all the same. Even today, I cannot distinguish them or think they are different from each other.

All we need is a PASSION to be with God; it does not matter how ordinary we are; it does not matter how ugly we are; we do not have to be great. Only our PASSION should be great! I quote one of my favourite Mahavakyas of Sri Bhagavan here:

"Not through YOUR WAYS would you reach me; but it is Only through My Grace that you would reach me"

_ Sri Bhagwan.

While Gratitude is a very very great virtue. I feel we should go even beyond it. That is, to have a bond with Amma and Bhagavan, we should relate all the things we get as their grace and express great gratitude for all that. We should LOVE Amma and Bhagavan for all that they have done for us. This is a sort of Conditional love and since we know only this conditiional love, Bhagavan and amma are teaching and accepting this sort of gratitude and love.

But I feel we should go beyond this conditional love, where Amma and Bhagavan are concerned. That is, we should love Amma Bhagavan very very unconditionally. If Love for Amma and Bhagavan has to be unconditional, we should love them JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE GODS and have come down to help humans AS GODS. If we can love them for this, it does not matter what we get and what we do not get, we would still love them for what they are. Again, this does not mean, you stop being grateful. Actually, when you experience unconditional love, you have gratitude for what you get and also for what you do not get! YOU ACTUALLY GROW IN GRATITUDE because you have become unconditional!

For me, the experience of loving Amma and Bhagavan UNCONDITIONALLY came first; thereafter, the unconditional love pervaded to other areas. For some others, this may be vice-versa. You may discover unconditional love in human relationships first and then the same with your God. Everything is beautiful. Unconditional love in one place/relationship leads to unconditional love in other places/relationships. We should follow what comes to us naturally.

"Success should not come from a stand point of previous perception of failures. Success or achievement must come from an Awakening, an outcome of gratitude." - Sri Amma Bhagavan

This week's Webcast Teaching of Sri Bhagavan to contemplate:

"The AWAKENED one allows destiny to be created. The Unawakened one tries to create destiny ." - Sri Bhagavan
